I am off to the Halloween Dance!!

My son's school holds a dance on Halloween - a nice way to give the kids a safe activity.

Last couple of years I was very tired of the things for 'nibbles' so I packed a bento box!





Inside on the left: pumpkin shaped boiled egg (sliced), boiled shrimp, very simple fried rice and a container of Russian dressing.

Inside the right hand side: plain onigiri with a dusting of cinnamon and sugar plus some a peeled and sliced plum.









AFTER THE DANCE NOTES:

Some things did get soggy BUT I enjoyed them and
enjoyed showing folks what bento-ing is about.

The dance was loud - my son was the only boy from his class to go -
but he enjoyed it.
