This is the campmaster's cabin at our local Boy Scout council camp reservation. All the comforts of home (fridge, stove, microwave, TV with satellite, phone, shower) but one - the toilet is at the latrine in the parking area.We were very lucky this weekend - even though we had a 'full house' because of several programs running at the camp and the weather was HOT all went well.
My son and I were even able to attend mass Saturday night courtesy of one of the packs ! My guy is the one who is definitely overdressed for such a hot Saturday.
The Kid enjoyed his first real attempt at a 'job' - he was my official assistant for the weekend and main Trading Post staffer for the cabin. (original pic removed - he did not want to be on the blog)
We are both very worn out - and neither of us do well in the heat. Try as I might I was not hydrated enough and MS is always a problem with hot weather but I got thru it all and enjoyed all of it!
Now to rest and recover so we are ready for the camporee at West Point!!!!!!!

Camp! You roughed it my dear - hiking to the bathroom is always a severe inconvenience for me. You are a great mom - they never forget these weekends of fun.
